Semi-Private Sewing Lesson (6yrs and up)
Service Description
Semi-private sewing lessons are designed for younger students or those who benefit from extra guidance and hand-over-hand assistance while learning to sew. In this format, a parent or guardian and child work together on a single sewing machine to complete shared project(s) in a supportive, one-on-one learning environment. Like private sewing lessons, these sessions are tailored to the student’s interests and skill level. Families can choose the skills or projects they would like to focus on, allowing students to learn at a comfortable pace while building confidence and foundational sewing skills. Semi-private sewing lessons are ideal for families who want to: - Learn how to use a sewing machine together with guided instruction - Create simple décor items, accessories, or garments - Work through a commercial sewing pattern step by step - Support younger sewists as they develop safe sewing habits No previous sewing experience is required. Guardian/child sewing lessons are available for ages 6 and up. If a student does not bring their own sewing machine, a $5 machine rental fee applies per class. (Only one machine will be in use during a semi-private class) Please use the Add-on feature to secure your sewing machine rental when booking your class. Students are responsible for providing consumable supplies, including fabric, thread, and notions.
